Important! : car aint starting

   hey can i have some important help, i have a 1.4 saxo west coast, and it wont start up, it wants to start but there is some thing stoping it, i have cheeked all the belts on the car to see if they are all still on, and i got a new starter moter, what else could be causing my car not to start any ideas please helppp i miss using my car and bein with out for 3 weeks soo any one got any adivise ??

   got spark? got fuel in the chamber? battery? alternator? could be alot of things tbh!
   need to narrow it down for us if you can.

   i put new spark plugs in about a mouth ago, Denso Iridium i dunno if they are any good tbh, i got a new battrey when i first got the car and that was 3 mouths ago, as i have put all my subs and amps into it, it wouldnt cope with it all, thats all i done really to it :/

   Is the fuel pump priming when you put it to the 2nd click of the ignition? Whens the last time the fuel filter was changed?
   
   EDIT- Also was the starter motor fitted correctly?

   i dunno, well since i had the car for over 3 mouths now i have neaver changed it, and on the recites i got from the last owner didnt see ani thing about the fuel filter, just loads of other stuff, how do i cheek that if it needs changing, were is it ?

   Its just in front of the Rear Passenger side wheel (Just behind passenger door). No real way of checking it until you get it out, so you might as well change it and it only costs under £10.

   oh thats oright then, what happens if its ok, :/ my mate thought the head gaskets gone, coz i had oil in the radiotor, that dont mean ani think does it

   Oil in Rad? Dont sound too good. Check under the oil cap, if its got white gunk all over it, then the headgasket has most likely gone.

    is there a key symbol flashing on the dash because mine has and it wont start no idea how to fix it and all i did to mine was change the clutch
