number plate light help

   ive fitted a smooth boot and dimma rear bumper and the number plate sits in the bodykit it has lights above it but dont know which wire to splice into to make them work can someone help? and what sort of wire should i use?

   Splice into the plug in the boot where the bulbs would normally sit

   could take it from your tail light, the on the comes on all the time?

   anything thats insulated. Halford sell reels of brake light cable. Use that?

   just to go your tail light, the one that comes on with sidelights and dipped beam, to find this, just turn your lights on and which ever bulb illuminates you've got it, then trace it back to its closest point to your bumper, clip it, wrap in insulation tape and your done
