whenever i start my car wether its cold or warm its taking about five turns of the key to finally start and idle,if i want to start it straight away i have to rev it and the starter motor makes a scraping noise and it dont idle properly it just stalls right away.any ideas as to what this is as its pissing me off.its just had a service aswell.

as for the starter, mine doesn't work sometimes :-/ -
#3its a 1.1 eascoast ive tried to take the icv off the other day but i managed to round off one of the 3 screws which secures it so i left it,do you reckon if i managed to get it off take it out the black casing and give it a clean it will be ok or is my starter motor fooked.
