Fubared 2nd Gear ! Help !

   Howdy ..
   On the way to work this morning the car started kicking its self out of second gear as soon as i go near the throttle .. All other gears are fine no knocks whines bangs or anything its just second !
   
   It happens on upshift and downshift ...BUT stays in gear as long as i keep hold of the gearstick! .. Soon as i let go it jumps back into neutrel.
   
   If i let the car roll in second gear without any throttle its fine but as soon as i touch the throttle it jumps out.
   
   Any Ideas feel free to throw them my way

   2nd gear synchro broken I'd say.
   
   Either needs a new 1st/2nd synchro (£150 + fitting) or get another gearbox

   Just use 1st and 3rd? As a temperary solution
