Anyone help out ?? customer (a fellow sax-p'er) has a 1.4 furio we put in for Mot today, failed on minor points apart from CO content was too high. He has said he has recently replaced the cat, we swapped the oxygen sensor for another used one (he is a little finacially strained at the mo) with no effect. Before we spend any of his dwindling cash has anyone any other ideas,no matter how obvious, that we may be overlooking. Car runs spot on, idles fine. Before anyone mentions dodgy Mot's... no i'm not into that at all! Cheers

#3A bottle of injector cleaner and a good rag for half an hour to get the cat red hot, and then straight on the ramp might help.
If not then without looking into expensive solutions the coolant temp sensor might be a fair shout, theyre only £3ish new. And Im sure youve checked this bud but is there any blow in the exhaust system anywhere, no matter how small? Tis mad how much difference even the smallest blow can make, really throws the fuelling off -
#4cheers, plans got to be an new QUALITY oxy sensor and temp sensor, bottle of injector cleaner and a ragging then lol, after that he's going to have to start spending

#5If it's run a dodgy lambda it could of killed the new cat easily?
