    do i have to use the same year vtr engine or will the new 2000+ year engine mounts be the same thanks for help

    what do you want to do put a vtr in your car? if so you can get engine from any year DEPENDING on what ecu you have, single plug or 3 plug, if you have a single plug ecu u can get any engine from a 1998-2000 if you have a 3 plug ecu you have to get a engine from a 2001 + car unless you want to start changing looms.
