exhaust hanging problem

   i went to my local garage today to get some new rubbers that will lower my exhaust abit. but they told me i need to have the pipe bent to stop it hitting the torsion bar, so they can attach the middle rubber.
   any way i can get around this without having it bent?

   alright mate why do you need your exhaust lower anyway? where did you go? havent seen the car in ur picture about before its nice where in northants are you?

   i live in a town down the a14, the advitar picture is the plan of what i want my car to look like at some point. i needed it lowering because it was quite close to my bumper.

   if its close to ur bumper just bend exhaust hangin brackets to adjust
