door strips

   Right the black strips across the doors can they be removed if so how do i do that.
   If they cant what can i do to return them to black the previuos owner resprayed black after they were silver but now is begining to show silver where door has been hit.

   They usually are fixed with 'double sided' tape, so should just pull off, start at one end, and work your way along. I hope this helps, good luck Dave.

   Use some thinners and plenty of rag to get the old paint off, that should bring them back to their former glory!

   no the problem is i want them black but they used to be silver so the silver is showing through how will i get them back to black and looking good

   Aha, in that case, rub them down with some wet and dry paper which will give you a good 'key' for the new paint, then spray them carefully with a good quality paint of your choice! bootiful!
