hi all, i have a set of brembo 4pot calipers but when i bought them one of the calipers was fu*ked so i bought another one but it came in black... i now have one red and one black. a friend of mine said he has some spare carbon vinyl wrap and said he would vinyl wrap the front half of both of them for £30 as thats all you can see weh its on the car.

will it work? or will it peel off when they heat up?

    thoughts please

ok i think the questions im really looking for answers for is how hot do calipers actually get?

and what temp can the vinyl wrap take?

Well you can get vinyl graphics/lettering for calipers to imitate brembo etc and i know they stay on. No 100% sure about a whole sheet of vinyl though.

well they do the brembo covers on ebay that just clip on the front can just get a pair of them. will make it look alot better than one black one red... when the wheel is on you cant see much anyways

The Vinyl will just melt, distort or just bubble under heat mate. Thats even if you get the vinyl to actually stick properly due to the amount of dust or grease etc that will be on the calipers.

they will get to hot and then will just fall off pal cant you paint them ??

Why don't you just re-paint them
Then get new decals for them

repaint mate save the hassle doin all again if they melt
