Important! : Accellerator? or Clutch

   I've got some kinda problem with my revs/acceleration, right..
   kinda hard to explain but;
   
   Say i'm in 4th gear, cruisin along at 30.. i push hard into the accelerator and instead of it gaining speed to the amount of pressure im applying.. the revs just fly up.. then level back down again slowly, THEN i gain speed.
   
   I have no clue what is causing this but it's annoying. Happens in all gears.

   just searched it up, and a Slipping Clutch sounds EXACTLY what the problem is, cheers matey.
   
   Possibly a new clutch or an adjustment, is an adjustment difficult?

   normally is new clutch time - but clutch might been adjusting

   adjust it first this will help a little just done that to mine till i can get the clutch for it.
   to adjust its 2 nuts haynes will help you alot

   problem solved!! clutch as above, if you cant get a clutch soonish just drive it like a lamb and be prepared to break down at some point if your unlucky

   i have this same problem in most gears and it can be clutch as it was replaced unde ra year ago and dont do any track days or wheelspinning anything like that.

   What clutch was used when it was replaced? Heard of some cheapo clutches not lasting 5k miles

    Clutch, make sure you get a valeo as the cheaper options are awful

    your clutch is slipping you need a new one

    sorted was just me being a fool resting my foot on clutch pedal taking play out the plate damn seat wont go any further back grrr
