help needed with alloys

  1. #1
i brought some wolfrace alloys and the tyres are 195/45 R15 i put them on but they were touching the inside of arches on back and the bar which the suspension springs are held on, i brought wheel spacers but the bolts were to small but even wen i placed them on without doing bolts up the still looked like they would be rubbing?
any suggestions do i get rid of them take them back or is there a way round it?

what is the offset? and how wide are they?
  4. #4
how much are you lowered at he back, could be that mate
  5. #5
yep the offset could be wrong mate, if not that then if shes lowered more than 40mm they tend to get quite close alright......... get some spacers mate that should sort it

i brought spacers 10mm its not lowered either so i have no clue what to do?

If you look at the alloy(usually on the back) it gives you the offset for the alloy, for example ET25 this means the offset is 25 and the standard Saxo is E15 which means you would need 10mm spacers to bring the offset back to E15 which Should by theory avoid rubbing on the inner arch.
The top of the arch all depends if the car has been lowered but from what you've said if it hasn't and your running on 45 profiles shouldn't be any issues there.
