hey all.. 1st real post here.
just put a deposit down on a 106 gti engine (which im lead to believe is the same as a vts lump)
ive read the write ups on fitting it and can do the fitting myself
a question ive got is the 106gti has a chipped keyfob (but no key) and transponder.
will i need to change my barrel.. or can i tuck the fob and transponder up behind the dash together and still use my saxo key (as it works locks and igniton and fuel cap)
the engine was £250 inc ECU, Loom, chipped Fob, transponder and immobilisor keypad.
will i need to use the 106 gti code to start the car on my keypad?
im ok with mechanical issued, clutches, gearboxes etc.. but electrical, im crap!
