Painting Wiper Arms

The wiper arms on my car have lost there black paint. So im going to take them off, sand them down and them repaint them. What sort of paint would you recommend?

Would getting a spray can be enough? And would i need anything else such as a primer?

i would use primer, and hammrite should do the trick i am doing my soon!

Would any black, metal spray paint do the trick? Or does it have to be hammerite?

yeap any paint long as its lacquared after.

i used halfords matt black on pne arm with lacquar no primer
and hammerrite smooth black on other no primer and no lacquar

hammerite is easier as it meant for outdoor use on metals so once your rubbed down spray hamerite on and boosh your done.

So i could just get Halfrods black metallic paint, and there own clear Lacquer 300ML?

Im guessing the Lacquer will help make the paint water resistant?

give the arms a good rub down then apply a light coat of primer then paint them black then after give them 3 light coats of laquer and they will look like new
