As above, what the hell is this, sounds like I got a cricket behind my dash on the drivers side. Its exactly the same noise as when you flick the indicator on and happens radomly and its repetitive

No but more to the point - i have a noise in the passenger side footwell in the dash but its more of a creak i assume its just touching somewhere.?

indicator and hazard yes, could also be a relay, there located over the fuses in the passenger footwell

The noise isn't coming from the passenger side though. .. .

yes i know but the relays for the flasher unit is located over the fuses as far as im aware mate

The noise has come back, can anyone give me an idea of how to change the relay so I can stop this clicking underneath my steering wheel, sooon irritating.....

do you have a alram on the car as it could be the main box on the alarm

Does it sound like its in behind the clocks and happens when turning the car off ?
i had the same problem but was coming from the nearside it was a indicator relay, but then changed the indicator arm aswell as it was worn, check the relays before attemping anything else imo
