   hi people i have a 1.1 saxo and wanting a bit more power out of it, i was just woundering if you could cam a 1.1 engine? also what other mods can i do to it making it faster.

   Still be slower than an R , may aswell vtr it

   tbh unless your planning on turbo'ing it then theres no point of doing any of the other mods , its only a 1.1 .

    Costing about £700 minimum and would only gain you about 20bhp at the most, where as for the price he could fit a VTR engine and have change. Not to mention a gain of 30 - 38bhp on a standard engine before tuning.

    my old 1.1 with a mani back decat exhaust and no interior was as quick as my makes 90hp vtr
    
    the gearbox difference makes it decent match tbh
    
    but the car wasnt practical and tbh i must have looked a dick in that car as it was a stripped 1.1 on 16s lol

    Just get a good VTR Engine and rebuild it, that's what I'm doing you'll be much more happy knowing you built it and it'll have more power than a Standard VTR

    dont worry i will be putting a VTS in it but at this moment in time my insurance for a 1.1 is 2k so i dont think i will b able 2 insure a VTS :/

    Its a 1.1, it will never be fast so just save your money and stick it out untill times come when you can insure something faster

    billy why dont you buy my vtr engine? i am letting it go dirtcheap all it needs is a box? you could put your box on it.
