overheating problems

   hi what it is when i drive around in my saxo vtr mk2 there is no problems the car doesnt overheat at all but then soon as i stop for any longer than a couple of minutes the fan turns its self on is this just getting worried something is gonna go any help would be appreciated cheers

   When your stationary your engine will get hotter due to the fact no air is getting into it as your not moving.. the fan will kick in to cool it.
   
   Every saxo does this, its what its designed to do!

   Yeah the fan kicks in usually just past the half way mark.
   Mine does it too - nowt to worry about
