   im sure people on here bond them onto the glass, (and thats for a mk2 spoiler i think anyway), the mk1 spoiler screws to the top of the bootlid, or just bond it on with tiger seal etc

   Yea the screws in the spoiler should screw out then you can just bond it on.

    yh same as above bond it on, i bonded mine on when i had my 1.1

    i was going to use the black stuff they use to stick the boot window in. anyone know what that is called?

    you screwing in to window or juist bonding on
    
    tiger seal seems to be popular bond mate

    Firstly the mk1 spoiler does not need to be screwed through the glass, that is just the mk2 one.
    
    Tigerseal is what I would suggest to bond it on with also.

    moggy where abouts in derby are you from? as above tigerseal is your best bet then just mask it up until it sets

    yea tiger seal is whatalot of people use to bonding it on pal you could do that buddy

    mk 1 will have to be bonded on and mk2 screws through roof

    so is it very simple to bond the spoiler on?
    Do i need to sand the paint down or anything? just straight on wacking abit of tiger seal on the spoiler and sticking it oN?

    just use tiger seal n loads of maskin tape to hold it steady easy
