Spoiler for an R Reg saxo (mk1)

  1. #1
    Hi guys,

I've recently started doing a few bits and bobs to my 1.1i saxo (first car) and I'm thinking about wacking a spoiler on it.

I've had a quick look on the bay for a spoiler and there are a couple but I'm unsure which to go for, MK1 / MK2. Another quick question, would a spoiler from say a 106 go on and look ok? I had a look for some pictures but I didn't see anything.

I've also read the threads about the differences between the MK1 and the MK2 spoilers and I'm thinking "thinking" that a MK1 using tigerseal would be the best option?

    Cheers

106 spoiler will not fit without some modification.

As for which spoiler, just whichever one you like best to be honest, I personally prefer the mk1 spoiler.

Alright, cheers for clearing that up mate.

You reckon it's worth phoning around the scrap yards for a spoiler?

I can't edit my post, apologies for the double.

If I could get the guy to take this spoiler off the glass could I just tigerseal it on to my MK1?

Could an admin please delete those couple of posts?

I'll get there in the end

the mk1 spoiler looks better and is bolted directly on, the mk2 spoiler would have to be tiger sealed as its normally fitted on the rear window.

Sorry mate, I've only just seen your post. I'm around solihull area so it's on the outskirts of Birmingham.

I managed to pick up a spoiler for £15 but it's the MK2 VTR one! Oh well, I'm going to get it resprayed and see how it looks, if I don't like it I'll give you a shout pal
