Just go to your nearby Halfords mate and buy a Pipercross Oil Breather Filter, it does the trick for me and am running that off a 1.6i engine and Raceland induction kit , £20.00 they are anyways.

hey mate they are much cheaper on ebay but cheers
I'll explain my situation. i have a piper cross induction kit with the little pipe for the oil breather tube but it doesn't clip on and its a little on the short side. so I'd either go with an extension to hook it up properly or a stand alone breather
was thinking running some ptfe tape from the piper-cross to make it a bit more of a snug fit, reckon it'd work?

    cheers

I'm not quite sure matey, your best off asking someone who knows a bit about engine bays etc as i aint the brightest of kids when it comes to that situation lol, i'll take a picture of my engine bay and show you what i've done, i'll post a picture up this afternoon for you.

Mate listen to this guy, go to halfords and get the pipercross oil breather, they work a treat, and what you need to do is block off the pipe which you would be connecting a breather onto with a nut so your air box is closed now. Then on the tip of the engine will be a lip and a hole where the pipercross oil breather you have bought will fit onto there, tighten the bracket and away you go.

The oil is supposed to come out mate, thats why these breathers are designed to hold some of the residue oil and not let it seep all over your engine bay!!!

    hope this helps
