mk1 vtr idle problems and cuts out

   hey all got idle problems and engine cuts out some times it fine but specially when slowing down and think when clutch engaged have changed coil pack and fitted new spark plugs but still happening has any one got ideas or been through it before? had a look on previous posts and think could be crank shaft sensor?map sensor?throttle position sensor?fuel pump?

   Idle control valve needs a clean, after you have cleaned and replaced it you will need to go for a short drive for it to get re adjusted.

   have given it a good clean and even taken throttle body off and gave that a clean changed lambda sensor def not map sensor or throttle positioning sensor am truley stumped and to top it all off power steering pump failed again

   could it be possible injectors nackerd or fuel pump?
