Brake Upgrade Query

  1. #1
I currently have a 266mm front brake set up from a Pug 306 XSI with normal/smooth discs. Came across these on eBay the other day. My car is only used on road, but do the drilled discs make that much difference?

Read the sticky too (nice one AlexR) but still wasnt 100% sure so just checking really.

They are made by Motorsport Tuning & Engineering Company.
Can't say Ive heard of them, any good or avoid?

    Thanks.

you will notice no gain atall chris. theyre there to aid cooling, but unless your suffering serious fade then it's not worth splashing out for no reason.

and even if you were suffering serious fade theres much better options to aid cooling

if you want to upgrade, then better pads are needed

No mine are fine atm, I thought they might aid my 'hard and late' style (yes, I know thats 'wrong' ).

Thanks anyway, thats a few more quid to go elsewhere

Would be better off with braided hoses and uprated pads than drilled disks.
