Burning out crank angle sensors

   Hi.
   
   My car has been plagued with problems for about two weeks now, my mechanic seems to think it is down to my Emerald K3 burning out crank angle sensors.
   
   This is the third sensors in two weeks.
   
   Anyone heard of this happening before?
   
   Would a trip down to Emerald sort this out?

   Sounds like s possible problem with how the cps sensor is wired up? Or maybe an Ecu problem?
