I'm going to view and most likely buy a nice Mauritius blue VTR tomorow morning, now I'm reasonably clued up on saxo's, or at least the basics. But what I need to know are things to look out for in the engine and on the body, engine mainly as it's done 100K
MK2, 2001 - I believe the 98BHP model, the milage is high but shouldn't be to much of an issue as I'm looking to engine swap later down the line.
Could you help me out as to what to look for when out test driving it/ looking around it? any bad sounds in the engine while driving, things like that?
It's jut last week had an MOT so 12 months on that, spent over £700 on that consisting of;
Refurbished rear axel,
All new tyres
All new brake discs & Pads
Strut brace
And the rest on sorting out all the little problems.
So really should be running sweet, I'm just looking for any potentual problems like gearbox, clutch etc...
Any help would be apreciated greatly,
