Exhaust

was just wondering weather to buy just a backbox, i like the sportex ones or would it be best to buy the centre pipe aswell.
Are backboxes alot of trouble to fit, ive heard you have to use a braided connector or somethin? any help please

for a 1.1 just get the back box and yes easy enough to fit

Backbox trouble to fit = No most of the time

And a centre section aswell will make it louder and give you a small gain (no gain just from a backbox) For the sake of a extra £50 for a Sportex cantre section then you may aswell go for it

    Why on a 1.1 ?

Loads of threads are cropping up now.

Its simple, you can get very little, if no performance from a 1.1 SPI engine.

Best bet would be a nice set of wheels, a cheap air filter for the 'Varoom' noise and then lower it. I worked on Handling as i knew i couldn't get any performance gains.

What budget are you wanting to spending mate, you can get an Ashley comp backbox for 110 quid and it sounds the dogs bollocks of if you want to pay a bit extra £150+ can get names such as Piper,Peco,Janspeed and so on..
