tips or advise needed (rubbing)

   i put some bigger alloys on my mk1 1.1 and ever since they have rubbed, they used to rub on both the inside anmd out, so i sorted the inside rubbing out with some 3mm spacers. but of course it now rubbed on the outside, so i hammered this in, but not much as it started to split and make the paint fall off, can i have some tips and help on what to do to sort this please

   Whow big is big?
   
   Solution is to fit smaller wheels, or 1.5mm spacers?

   what do you mean by big is big?
   
   and theyre the only wheel spacers i can find, none bigger, none smaller its 3 stud you see, no other tips?

   well you could of filed the inner arch down abit but thats outta the window ***tip treat the place where the paint is flaking as it will rust ... ermmm what tyres have you go .. i am guessing 195/?/15

   195/45/15 what do you mean by ***tip? i hadnt thought of filing actually, i was going to cut or grind but after i hammered i couldnt think of what to do, thanks
