What are the signs 4 a knackerd coil pack?

Mis-firing and "juddering" like you said... Your ECU went into limp mode because you had a severe misfire.

ah right. So it does seem as though my coil pack has had it then. Any point in gettin a secong hand 1 from a scrappy for Β£30, or just get a new 1?

Or could be like my fault at the moment, a dodgy connection on the injector rail, causing an injector not to do is job.

Get it on diagnostics.. Mine went last week. The EMlight started to flash then lots of juddering and felt as if it was going to stall! New coil pack and new plugs + fitting might be about Β£100.

Get it on diagnostics and find out what the problem was. i had a similar problem managed to get the car home as it happen not far from home. started it again in the morning and it was fine. turned out coilpack was having a hissy fit lol but saying that it was the first time it had been filled up after picking the car up so could have been blockage in fuel filter too

My mate helped me with mine, didn't realise it was that easy as I'd never done it before! Next time it packs up (probably in about 1,000 miles) I'll be doing it

Just get it on diagnostics mate. Will probably save you a lot of money and could just be something simple .
