fuel gauge spaz

    awright guys

    i have a minor problem with my fuel gauge....

    when i switch the ignigtion on the needle will got up and down about two or three times then finally pass out at the bottom and stay there.

    now i have already searched this through the forums and the aparently i need to replace the clocks, as it is a fault with the needle itself.

    so i'm ebaying it up right now.
    however my problem is that my speedo goes up to 120mph
    the only clocks i can seem to find go up to 140mph.

    is this a problem? will it still work?

    i have a mk2 saxo VTR 2000 W reg so the clocks would have to be the digital ones with the white dials.

    yeah i have the same problem.. i was told it was the wiring?!

    Aye apparently the clcoks need replaced cause it's a fault with the gauge itself

    i just had this with my clocks , i needed new clocks . . job done

    For future people who run into this problem

    I tried new clocks
    It didn't work.

    Going to have a look at the fuel float itself

    I had the exact same problem as this the day after i bought my furio so i got a new sender unit and it sorted it but iv had the furio 16v'd this week and since its doing it again. Iv got the 1 blue wire out of the 4 that clip into the sender live shouldnt there be 2 live one for the gauge?
