recently go my head gasket changed as it was leaking loads.. also changed the water pump. thermo, cambelt and headbolts. There is a tiny bit of oil i mean a small amount ( not dripped on the floor) coming from the front right hand corner is this normal as i heard headgasket are common to go there ???
Leaking from front corner of head gasket

#2right when looking at engine? as in gearbox side? could just be`rocker cover leaking.
-
#3its not the rocker cover. i can see the where its leaking from and its on the corner of the headgasket and running on down from there
-
#4did you skim the head and torque it down properly?
-
#5If you've only just changed the headgasket then the chances are one of the bolts hasnt been done up tight enough, or its been done too tight and caused a crack in the gasket.
If you got it done at a garage take it back and get them to fix it. -
#6the head wasnt skimmed however the head was mint i didnt drive it when the headgasket had gone. also there was no mayo or anything in the oil. Think it was just a oil way.. The head was correctly put back on as i wacthed it done. is there anywhere else it could come from and would run down the same lines??
-
#7how did they check the head was perfectly flat? you can get away with not skimming the head but it should be done when you have it off really. just helps prevent any problems like this.
-
#8so ideally the head should be skimmed. A friend done it for me and im not blamming him one bit as he a whore and really does know his stuff... ill post a picture...

the hole that you can see i dont think it coming out of there as its not enough as this is hardly any oil.. but just want it to be bone dry -
#9i recon its all them girls mcmilkshakin all over the 16v moxy! in all seriousness... i havent the foggiest!

#10Could I be the cam ladder leaking?

#11its getting looked at next thrusday so i wont drive it
