VTR squeaking when rev

   My mate has just got a VTR 03 plate, And when he revs the engine when its cold he gets a squeaking from the engine, i think it could be a case of cam belt going, Or maybe lack of oil?

   tell him to put his foot on the clutch and rev if it doesnt squeak wen he does this it the release bearing on the clutch mine does this

   Or maybe just the alternator belt? Check its Tension. Cheap as chips if its that
   
   Also the Cam belt wouldnt Squeak as it has teeth. Might be the clutch thrust bearing as NOSHERVTR said so check if the pitch changes or it stops when using the clutch.
