hi i recently bought a vts saxo and the car goes well. but when i have abotu a quarter of a tank of petrol and i put the foot down at about 4000 revs it sorts cuts out or splutters a bit and looses acceleration... sometimes its ok but it only seems to happen when im down to bout a quarter of a tank or so meyb?? wud love ideas on how to get it sorted.. cheers dean

#9i have today replaced my fuel filter and this keeps happening.. i thin it getting worse . if i put the foot down in the low gears or anything at all it sorta chugs and then comes round again and then meyb chugs again like it is being starved of petrol or something.. can anyone please help me

#11Im getting this bastard problem now too..seems to happen most when its cold in gears 1-3..just doesnt want to accelerate as much and feels lumpy..even cuts out..

#13mine had this problem took it to the garage and it was the map and throttle position sensor try changing them
