Smoke/Steam from rear right wheel arch

    yet another problem!
pulled up today (after driving moderately for about 30-40mins) and there was smoke or steam pouring out of the rear right wheel arch, wasn't just a little bit either. also smelt like burning. middle of wheel was warm.
carried on driving it, was fine and it has been all night.

just had the rear brake cylinders replaced (yesterday) handbrake only takes two clicks, could it be too tight and the shoes touching all the time?
rear beam does look as though its on its way out
grinding when i turn left-from rear right i think
clicking every now and again-from rear right (nothing courses it)

cant decide weather its brake related or rear beam, anyone got any ideas?

    thanks in advance

If the handbrake only takes two clicks then the handbrake is definetly adjusted far too tight. Don't know if it is the overall cause of the smoke or steam coming out of the arch though. Was the area clean down when the brake cylinders were replaced (i.e no residue brake fluid on the shoes or drums)??

brake related - take it back to whoever replaced the rear cylinder

If thats the case, then the handbrake adjustment is reasonable but still a little tight but shouldn't cause too much of a problem.
