I've got a 1.1 Desire and the last couple of days I've noticed a slight rattle from the rear passenger side. Only seems to happen after I've been driving at motorway speed and then dropped down to normal speeds on normal roads, on uneven surfaces etc.
I've had a quick look and both of the rubber bungs are in still in place and the exhaust hardly moves when I try and rock it. I noticed that the exhaust is only a centimetre or so from the flaps that come down and protect the wheels though. Could the bungs be expanding a little when I'm up to temperature causing the exhaust to rock towards the flaps?
I've seen a couple of people mention using ties to secure it but I'm not sure how I'd do it. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
