De-cat on furio, any gains/noise?

ive got a decat for my furio, as it is it's got a big bore exhaust thats sounds pretty nice and a k&n air filter. noise from exhaust seems to die at about 4000 revs.
will the decat have any power/throttle response?
also will it sound nice or just loud?

    thanks in advance

I remember feeling a bit more poke and a slightly raspier exhaust note on my old vtr. Power increase was barely (if any) noticable though so don't expect big gains bud.

I hear it cuts down fuel economy too.

They sound fantastic on the furios and vtr's keeping a really nice note all the way throigh the rev range. i wouldn't say it increases perfomance at all (if it does its not noticeable) but the overall sound i think makes it feel like your going quicker if you get me?

ive got a raceland 4-2-1 and a full stainless system on mine and its not noticeable. sounds nice though

The exhaust will be more raspy and it will pop more

a de-cat should increase mpg technically because it lets the engine "breathe" better, creating less resistance hense using less fuel. thats just what should happen in theory now.Whether it does mite be a different story. Althought I did notice a slight difference in mpg on my vtr and top end power is more strong accompanied with a manifold

You are definatly gonna loose mpg when de-catting there's no question about it. The catalyst helps control the fuelling/air mixture in the engine. Without a cat the engine will not have 100% exactly the correct mixture. Although saying that you will hardly notice the difference with a decent engine and its definatly worth it .
