  1. #1
I'm savin up for either lower my saxo 40mm all around, or to tint my windows, what should i get done first? Im thinking lowering it..?
  2. #2
    Lower it!!!!!

also id have the front lowered 40mm and the rear lowered 60mm
  3. #3
+1 lower it , looks more pleasing to the eye being lowered than tints
  4. #4
Yh, thats what i was thinkin, both about the same price, depending on where i get it done, will get a few prices.
  5. #5
    lower it forget tints
  6. #6
Lower looks good no matter what, tints are rather more dependable
  7. #7
definately lower it first, has a bigger impact on the look of the car
  8. #8
Any one had their saxo lowered 40mm all around? how much it cost? and how long it take?
  9. #9
    lower it man!!
i kinda regret getting my tints.
  10. #10
Just had a look at your VTS, And it looks sweet with the tints.
  11. #11
imo tints only realy look good on black saxos
  12. #12
    Lower...
  13. #13
I used to be like you .. Thinking wot should i get done 1st .. Lower or Tints ?!???

But i went for lowering it 1st and im glad i did .. When I got it done .. It made a whole big difference and i was debating whether to still get tints or not coz it looked alright without them but i went and got tints next anyway lol

But yeah i deffo say get it lowered first
  14. #14
lower it first then tints. mine cost me £150 labour and £50 for the springs. the garage had if for a day but probly takes 3-4 hours depending on how stuck the torsion bars are. I tried to do it my self but could not get the bars out.
  15. #15
£200! wow! Few months worth of saving up then
  16. #16
again if you've got the guts you can lower it yourself. tutorials on here somewhere for it just need a few simple tools and a pair of spring clamps.
  17. #17
    No chance lol
  18. #18
rofl ok then might have saved you £150 tho
  19. #19
Would have lost either my life or the car lol
  20. #20
i nearly lost my finger on a hydraulic spring compressor at college lol X]
  21. #21

  23. #23

  24. #24
oh i juggle chain saws maybe i should think safety and start turning them on lol

  30. #30
    lower lower lower !!!
  31. #31
lower and dont tint, personally i think saxos look tacky tinted due to the large matrix dot around the back 3 windows (got mine done (cost £60) couldnt stand the white line around the window)
  32. #32
    Yerr lower it first mate
  33. #33
    +1 lower!
  34. #34
    Low low low lower it
  35. #35

  38. #38
    whatever costs more first ?
  39. #39
    lower lower lower
  40. #40
deck it and ditch the tacky tints to be honest
  41. #41
Or kris b will fit front springs and lower totion bar for 80 quid and manic motors are quite cheap all depends where u live
  42. #42
I've got some one to lower it, not going to bother tinting windows.
  43. #43
drop it on its arse 1st
  44. #44
only gonna lower it 40mm, cause im buying springs off some one for £20, so thats all i can basically afford
  45. #45
Lower ir first i'd say. My car cost me £85 in total to lower, springs cost £25 2nd hand (g-maxx) and rear was done by top gear for £60.
    40mm ive had allround.
Oh and please, lower ur car same height allround, seen quite alot if saxos lowered on the back more then the front, looks ridicioulus!
  46. #46
    lower it definatly
  47. #47
Always about a lowered saxo, tints look ok but their cosmetic in relation to the more you will prefer driving it knowing its lowered
  48. #48
as ever one is saying lower it first makes the car look so much better when lowerd pal
  49. #49
Yeah, i think im going to do that, everyone seems to think thats the best way.
