How far can i drive without one?

as my pulley came lose and stripped the thread off the spindle, so have taken it off.

i have found a new one close by, but wondering how far i can go on?

good news is its a new battery as of last week.

If you must do it, have as little as possible on ie stereo etc use indicators, as little as possible, and definitely not the heater blower! also you don't want to get stuck in traffic if you can avoid it, as you don't want the engine fan to come on, i hope you get the idea, good luck!

Ps, make sure the battery is fully charged before you go, if you don't have a charger, hook up jump leads from another car (with your engine off) get it charged well, switch off the other car, then start yours, and then unhook the leads and go!

Good job its a new battery, although driving off that alone will kill it quite quickly.

Power steering will be biggest drain on it and starting it up also, can you park on a hill and bump her off in the morning? Good luck but i'm sure you will be okay

i've been running my diesel 106 for 3 days without one, not advisable though especially on a petrol. may just get round to bolting one on tomorrow
