Faulty ECU or wiring??

Engine management light has came on 4 times over the past 2 weeks, each time bringing up codes, misfire 1 and 3 and aging cat.

Had the cat/lambda checked - all fine

    Coilpack and plugs replaced

Came on again this morning, drove like a tractor lacking power, lumpy idle etc. But this is intermittent and I started it up again 10 minutes ago - drove fine.

Garage that has been dealing with it reckons it's an electrical fault, either the wiring or the ECU itself.

What can I do? Been recommended to take it to Citroen and get it checked there and poss a new ECU from them?

Just take it to the Shitroen for diagnostic,or you will just buy parts with zero results as I did...

Yeah I know mate, found recon ones on ebay for 135, only prob is I don't know if it'll work on my car?

Do the part numbers have to match? mine have a completely different set of numbers & letters.

    Confuzzled here
