Do I Need 2 Springs Or 4?

Im getting my saxo lowered by a garage, but i need to supply the springs, do i need 4, or 2, and if i need 4, are the rear ones different than the front?

Two springs, rear is a torsion bar

You need two springs mate (for the front).

The back of the saxo is a Torsian Bar.

Not all garages lower the rear of the saxo (adjust the torsian bar) the correct way and can cause damage in the future.

Just noticed you are in Newcastle, i'd recommend Manic Motors, they're on here and they have their own website. They have worked on hundreds of saxos and their prices are good.

As above it will be very rare to get a backstreet garage that will lower the rear of your car properly, so i would deffinatly look into manic motors as there's many good things to say about them.

    Ok cool, who is it?

Also it might be worth upgrading your dampers, depending on your budget, and what you are after (comfort, handling, budget etc).

Take a look on kam racing website for suspension kits
