hi all. i have fitted my new calipers and new braided lines. i bled the brakes through untill i had a nice flow of fluid through them but when i drove the car and braked my foot would go straight to the floor and the car would brake very lightly...

i am going to bleed them through again incase i didnt do it properly but if that dont work any other suggestions why?

what size is your master cylinder?

Had a look at your fluid level? It gone down since you bled them? Got a leak anywhere?

I'd check the whole brake system over with a fine tooth comb just to make sure

Would bleed them threw again and check for any leaks in the lines.

its just the standard vtr mc. i was told it will still work with that but the pedal might not feel nice. but i should still be able to stop?

if you can't stop then sounds a more serious problem - I'd say it needs a good bleed and check for leaks as mentioned above

Are they new pads and discs?

Make sure you bleed in the correct order and both top nipples on the front.
