Break lights

   Help!
   
   got no break lights an not a clue what could have caused it
   
   bulbs look all fine...my mate looked at my break pedal to see if it did the click thing to triger the break lights said it seems fine!
   
   any ideas my lights work at night just no break lights at all not one!
   
   anyone got any idea's??

   has he checked the switch under the pedal? so when he presses it the break lights come on?

   yea it was the switch under the pedal that my mate looked at...
   
   
   sounds silly but not looked at the fuses yet it was dark last night....would there be a separate fuse for the break lights ?

   sounds like switch to me, has he deffo checked it right? so when he presses it it the brake lights come on? of not take the switch out and bridge the plug with a bit of wire and if lights come on its a faulty switch.

   ah he fiddle round down there, said is clicks when you touch the pedal, i will have a look tonight down there see what it looks like,
   
   it is strange how they all stop working all of a sudden...

   Id say 99% chance its the switch, just because it clicks doesnt mean it works like. take it off and see. give it a good mess with and wd40 it, mine went on my vtr ages ago, took apart and cleaned it up was fine after that. Nearly got rear ended a good few times, was only when one guy stopped me to tell me they didnt work.

   does sound as if it's the switch mate, have a real good look
