every since i have taken my boot off my drivers door wont unluck. if i press the key fob it try's to unlock but it just clicks and stays down. i cant even pull the lock up its totaly jamed
any ideas anyone??

#3small problem my old boot has gone so cant put it back on... im not sure if the boot would affect the door though??

#4mine had this problem had to get catch broke off and replaced it . took garage half hour to get my door open
reason why is the latch fell in on its self -
#5what catch did yo have to get broke off? i have my whole door card of now but cant get my hands inside...
did it cost alot to get fixed? -
#6there was no other way to open door i got it broke off cost 20 pound half hour labour and i got part from scrappy for 10 put on myself
p.s i pulled door card off didn't damage it tho there's a screw by the mirror you cant get it out with out door open justed pulled mine and it come off -
#7yea the door card is no problem i have that off already. what did you take out of the door?
the lock bit that you pull up to unlock the door goes down and is cliped ontho a hook that is attached to a box. is that the box that you replaced? -

#10a friend of mine is going to let me borrow her boot solenoid to plug into my loom in the boot to see if that is what is messing up the circuit. not sure if it will work but worth a try. if not ill try remove the door one and see if it is faulty

#12the screws are inside the door you only see them when doors open i tried for 4 days to open give up in end went to garage

#16ha ha i pm'd that guy with the same problem. he sed all you need to fix it is wd40 and some elbow greece. i gave it a try straight away and it worked. the passengers seat wont get abused so much now lol.
