More confused than a nun in a brothel TYRES!!!

   Just got some 16" alloys of a mates c2. Need new tyres the ones currently on are 195/50r16 and the ones on my standard vtr alloys are 185/55r15. So will i need lower profile tyres on my new ones or will these slot in fine and not rub gainst the arches??? Please help and quote what size tyres. My car is currently off road as im now takin the time to spend on it so i cant just take it to a tyre place and solv this. Help guys please!!!!

   no mate. Lower a car round my neck of the woods u might aswell smash the bumbpers up yourself speed bumps pot holes the lot.

   195/40/16 I'd imagine matey.
   
   195/45/16s would probably be ok but may get problems when on full lock.

   just to say matey , VTR alloys are usually 185/55/14 not 15 , unless yours are bigger for sum reason ??

   Yeh my bad.. apologies guys typing error haha. So is the above correct for these 16s? 195/40/16
   They look sweet as and cant wait to get em on but just not that clued up with the tyre info..
   Dont want the problems with full lock and whatnot.

   195/45/16 is the same as 14s on 185 55 iirc.
