car alarm going off

hi guys..just a quick post for some quick answers..my alarm on my VTS goes off quite alot for no reason?its just standard alarm not aftermarket..was told my battery was dying and they tend to go off..i just recently changed the battery but still goes off..its just gne off 3 times in the past hour..not that bad all th time....normaly once a day ish...anyon have the same problem? or knows a cure?

sometimes a drop or increase in temperature can make them go off randomly , or if theres like a fly in there ? lol

bastard fly been in ther a few months..need to find it lol...mmmm its annoying...dnt wanna disconnect it cos its a shit area round here..loads of smack rats lol

anymore suggestions?

hahaha... Ummm fill the car with deoderant and smoke the bastard out lol ... ummm if not may possibly be a faulty sensor module ??

it will be the interior sensors (ultrasonic)....they always go faulty buddy

Oh and moved to the correct section

Next to the hazard warning light switch is another button.......you have to turn off the ignition, remove keys, press and hold the button until the alarm led illuminates, get out of the car and lock as nomal.

That disables the interior sensors.......but you have to press the button each time you want to lock the car.

Guarantee that sorts it......but having an alarm that is faulty is never food.......time for an upgrade????

do you have an air freshner hanging from your mirror? often when a car goes past it can cause the car to sway a little bitc causing slightest movement will make anything freel hangling move therefore the sensors will pick it up.

but like above it could be faulty sensors, just something to think about
