Engine Noise!!!!

    it seems like there is a cricket or something going mental under the bonnet, anyone got any ideas???

    Where abouts in the engine bay is it coming from? Can you pinpoint it a bit more?

    If you can narrow down roughly where it's coming from then it'll help to diagnose it.

    Could be a loose cambelt cover or some sort of vibrating plastic?

    could be a number of things mate..check its not running dry..could be tappets??sometimes if the inlet/outlet manifold gasket goes then it makes tht noise..u need to be sure wer thenoise is coming from..would be a big help

    does it happen when accelerating? Braking? in gear? coasting?
