Drivers door check strap come adrift-anyone know how to fix it?

   My drivers door check strap on my Saxo has come adrift (it was like it when i bought the car a few weeks ago) there is already a crease in the door where it's been opened to far (grrrr!) no point in fixing the door until i can sort out the strap, but i can't see where it connects inside the door itself. Any ideas please?

   Theres 2 10mm bolts holding it inside the door.. you can see them on the inside edge of the door.
   
   Undo them, you need to take off your door cards and put your hand in... if it's connected to the strap thing then you need to twist the thing bolted to the door....90 degree's

   You might find the the fixing on the door has been damaged, use large washers under the 2 10 nuts to secure it again. The A post fixing might be quite difficult to get out, well mine was. I had to retap it again-the threads were shit on mine from the factory.
