stuttering

right last week the car would stutter and little bit when you put your foot down a little bit then it would just go back to driving as normal.

but today i just put petrol in (unleaded) and it stutters a jolts as if it does not want to pick up speed at all. in 3rd at 4000revs it will do about 40 then in 4th at 3000revsa it will do about 55 .

it just jolts and splatters i cant understand what it is. anyone had this before by any chance?

check the spark plugs, if you do a lot of short journeys they might foul up, take them out if they are black clean them off and take the car for a good run. if they are ok, then it might be your coil pack (or leads depending on model) that are at fault

ok thanks buddy i have been told that it could be my plugs and leads, and i do use it alot for short journeys ill go check them now.

well just took the car out to show one of the lads now and it was driving like normal. cant understand this lol
