Welding

   Hi, just curious how much i should be paying to have a bolt welded to a plate and then welded to the floor of my car, as the drivers seat bolt closest to the gearstick has had its day.

   Little confused as to what your after having done but if its just literally welding a bolt to the floor I would say a 4 pack should cover it.

   has your captive nut snapped off? common problem. why are you asking if you should be paying? if you cant do it yourself i dont see why someone should do it for free?

   had a quote in my car from a past reciept and it was 35

   Have had this same problem before in my old vts, my mate did it at work for a box of stella!! (2 for £16 at the time i might add!!) A garage should charge around £20-30 max as its only a 35min job max.
