Dim Dash Board Lights

   The little green lights behind the dash that show the speed fuel amount etc have went very dim When i turn the lights on full it use to light up pretty bright now i can barely see it at night What could be wrong ?

   Under your steering wheel there should be a little plastic wheel(like on a computer mouse)move this as it alters the dashboard lights brightness.

   i had to press mine, it went dimmer the more i pressed it then starting going brighter after it reached its dimmest setting.

   isnt that to adjust the height of your headlights...
   
   if you press the button on the right of the dials in, thats to adjust the brightness of your dials

   the wheel under the steering wheel is for headlights, one of the buttons on the dials adjusts brightness

   On my Mk1 VTR the dial brightness is adjusted by usign a scroll wheel to the left of the headlight alignment wheel. The right hand stick on the dials adjusts the clock.

    i think its the left hand button on your dash that increases the brightness
