spraying mirror caps for noob?

    Been on Ebay and found a few mirror caps, but none the same colour as mine. What would I need to buy to spray em'? and estimate prices for paint etc please.

    primer, the colour paint you want and some spare time.

    To spray them yourself you would need.
    Price differ's depents on were you go.

    * 1 Can of primer. £7
    * 1 Can of Laqour.£9
    * 1 Can of Paint i.e the same colour of your car. £9

    Dont forget to rub the primer after with wet and dry sandpaper (1200 grade) then apply paint.

    Don't need to do that unless it has imperfections, the primer is keying, or PRIMING (heyyyyyyyyy o), the plastic enough. If it does have imperfections, you only need to do that area, then again, if you focus on that too much, and over do it, you'll get flat spots.

    It is time consuming, I prefer to 'dust' the paint on, don't try and rush the painting stage by putting it on thick, if you fuck it up, you have to sand it down and start again.

    Preparation is everything.

    Time consuming, maybe worth it, I'd rather buy them in the right colour than do it again though.

    well, I have a gold saxo but i'm thinking of getting black caps because I'm goin for a gold/black theme. If anyone has BLACK ones for sale pm
