engine management light

   hiya,, can any1 help. i have a 1999 saxo vtr. my engine light comes on and goes off now and then. it comes on when im driving along then it gets a sudden jolt and picks up again. i did drop it in to a garage but they say they had the wrong computer for diagnostic. when they rigged it up it came up with the error code P1203?? any suggestions why this jolt happens??? oh and if i need to replace spark plugs or coil pack,, what do i do?? many thx

   sounds weird my one used to come on i change air filter not sure if that did anything but does not flash up anymore

   i'll give it a go.. are they easy to remove? i read something bout missfire??
