temp gauge

   i"ve just fitted a new engine temp sensor,
   
   now my temp gauge goes all the way to the top with just the ignition on & stays there even when started,it was fine before
   
   anyone know what the problem is????????

   Sometimes when a sensor, including temperature sensor, has been changed, then the ECU will require re-setting. If you can get someone with the equipment, get it re-set, it will virtually take a minute to do.
